The Kitchen Line
Any court24 games4 postcardsFirst medal
Every pickleball life starts at the non-volley zone. This is the first-medal route — short enough to finish while life is busy, designed so the medal arrives while the habit is still new. Log rec games, drills, or lessons. The kitchen line is seven feet. The finish line is twenty-four games.
The route
6 games · Your home court
The NVZ
Seven feet from the net. The line that teaches patience.
12 games · The dink rally
Soft hands
You stopped swinging at everything. That's the sport.
18 games · Transition zone
The hold
A third shot that actually drops. Keep that feeling.
24 games · Finish
First ribbon
Twenty-four games in. The medal is in the mail.
What you get
- Physical enamel medal of the route, with its own ribbon
- Or a crew of four: the captain shares a six-character code, and each person logs the route
- 4 court postcards unlocked in your rally log
- Entry for as long as it takes
- The club's pledge at the finish: a youth paddle, or 50 balls kept out of the trash
Court photo
A game counts only after you photograph the court you just played on. The shot is stored with that session. It is not a GPS proof.
- The photo is taken with the camera when you come back. The camera roll does not count.
- A rec game still needs 12 minutes of play in the live club. You do not watch a timer.
- You attest that you played. No photo, no credit.
- The packing desk can open the shot with the session.
- Eight games a day, with a cooldown between sessions.
